Walton is an Irish science and technology magazine based in Cork city. It was started in October 2012 as a small online project aiming to provide in-depth scientific conversations across a wide range of topics. After three successful publications to date we are now primarily focusing on developments in STEM subjects within Ireland with publications appearing bimonthly. The magazine is named after the only Irish born science Nobel Prize winner: Ernest Walton from Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.
All the writers are PhD or Masters graduates from a variety of backgrounds bringing with them a wealth of experience. However we're still looking for more Writers, Editors, Graphic Designers, Web and App Developers and anyone else who may be interested in helping us grow! Just email editor@waltonmagazine.com if you're interested.
